I'm Rebecca. Through my career in agriculture, I have worked to leave things better than I found them. From managing grazing and harvesting salad greens to driving an 18-foot refrigerated truck and leading a team of 35 employees, agriculture and ecosystem health have been the common thread through my work. Working towards more resilient ecosystems that we can continue to draw from remain the inspiration for the work I pursue. 

My background includes over 15 years of experience in local food systems where I've developed skills in stakeholder engagement, cultivating relationships with government agencies, non-profits, and industry leaders. I have a proven ability to organize and facilitate educational initiatives, develop creative solutions for unique challenges, and advocate for agriculture and natural resource management. 

I approach this work like I approach all things – with wholehearted curiosity, integrity, and creativity. I have a deep appreciation for agriculture and feel a sense of pride and duty to teach people about what it takes to steward land and produce food. I know well the many small moments that together build relationship with land and people. My work in agriculture is extensive and holistic. I value integrity, straightforward communication, humor, and hard work.
